General

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our services are carried out to the highest standard and to the best of the Company’s ability, according to the condition of a vehicle, the Client is advised to check the vehicle on completion of the valet, before making payment, to ensure that all work has been carried out to the standard and specification described.

Should there be any cause for dissatisfaction, the Client should point out the discrepancy and we will endeavour to correct it at that time and to the best of our ability. No responsibility can be accepted by SouthCrest Detailing for omissions or discrepancies detected after we have left the Client’s premises. Should the valet be carried out with the ‘Client not present’ and the Client has cause for complaint, then, the Client is asked to contact the Company within 24 hours of the valet. Should the Client fail to adhere to this time scale then the Company may decline to rectify any omissions or discrepancies.

All vehicles are cleaned and valeted at the customers own risk. If you book an engine bay detail, you must read the disclaimer and agree to the notice before you agree to proceed with the service. Child seats must be refitted by you; we will not be able to refit seats under any circumstances.

Location

As we are a mobile service, we require a safe place to plug in our extension lead to gain power.

Due to insurance purposes, as well as staff and vehicle safety, SouthCrest Detailing will NOT commence any work that is on a main road, heavily used road or a small and tight road. We also cannot work in pay & display car parks.

If your home address or the location you wish for the work to be carried out in has any of the above issues, then get in touch first.

Damages

We will not be held responsible for any damage to your vehicle arising from ill-fitting trim, loose or faulty parts. In addition we cannot be held liable for any damage that may occur to any electrical components i.e. sensors, switches and other circuits that are worn or may have previously been damaged by moisture, water entry, previous valets or loose trim fittings, fixtures, console levers, screens, connections, switches and vents whilst deep cleaning.

We have many years experience of vehicle valeting – so please be assured that every effort will be made to prevent these occurrences - but please ensure you make us aware of any potential problems before we start the valet.

Liability

SouthCrest Detailing’s entire liability for providing valeting/detailing services is limited to the invoice amount for the service provided.

Cancellations

SouthCrest Detailing requires at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations, failure to do so will incur a 30% fee of the service booked, full payment will be required if the slot cannot be filled.

If we have to cancel or rearrange your booking to due unforeseen circumstances, it will be within 14 days of the original booking.

Payment

SouthCrest Detailing accepts payment in the form of cash, card payment & bank transfer.

An invoice will be sent to the email address given, which you will supply upon the booking. Failure to pay will result in legal action being taken. A missed booking is a missed wage, we will not fall victim to a loss in time or pay under any circumstances.
